Sri Subramania Samajam, Hyderabad, is proposing to conduct a ‘GAYATRI JAPAM
& HOMAM’ by Brahmacharies (who are still doing their education) of age upto 22,
during November/December 2022 in Samajam premises. This activity requires a
minimum of 12 Brahmacharies who perform Sandhyavandanam and Gayatri Japam
regularly. To prepare the Brahmacharies for participating in this HOMAM, the
registered candidates will be given coaching in Anushtanams like
Sandhyavandanam, Samidadhanam, Brahma Yagnam, Pooja Vidhanam etc., from
July 2022. Physical and online classes will be held for this purpose. Lectures by
Vidwans will also be arranged to make them understand the significance and
benefits of these Anushtanams. All classes will be held on Sundays or Holidays only.
Participating in this program will not any way affect their academic schedule, but
will help them with better concentration in their studies.
The ultimate aim of this program is to inculcate the habit of doing the prescribed
Anushtanams to the extent possible by children of our community and make them
aware of our Vedic Practices, rich Culture and Heritage which will sustain their
interest in following our Traditions
